From 2011 to the present...
I've lost count how many times I've been asked/told the following questions/comments:
1. How did you know homeschooling was the right choice?
2. You have far more patience than I do. I could NEVER homeschool my kids.
3. Aren't you worried about socializing them or that they will miss out on normal school stuff like Prom?
Three years ago, my husband and I found ourselves faced with some difficult questions from our oldest son in regards to what was being taught to him in public school and how it differed from the Biblical teaching he received at home. This began the greatest/frustrating/fun/aggrevating journey in the life of our family and education for our children yet. (And these precious kids have seen their momma endure brain surgery and a mild stroke!)
So, how did we know this was right for us? In May 2011, my husband and I began praying ALONE about this possible new adventure. We did not want to influence each other in any way so we committed to praying for 2 months without discussion.
